It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife, Marjorie Zimmerman of Regina, SK on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020.
Marjorie passed away peacefully with all of her family by her side.
She was predeceased by both her parents, Thomas and Vera Martin; sisters, Mildred (Bob) Bell; and Delores (Frank) Steele; brother, William Martin; and brother-in-law, Paul Mercier.
Marjorie is survived by the love of her life, husband, Alfred Zimmerman; children, Geoffrey Zimmerman with Brianne, Sean, and Danielle; Lori (Paul) McCormack with Kieran, Brigid, and Mairead; Calvin (Kim) Zimmerman with Spencer, Taylor, and Carter; Della Weafer with Morgan, Madeline, and Lauren; Margot (Barry) Biller with Christina, Jessica, and Miranda; and Rhonda (Mark) Poitras; a true joy for her in her last years, first great-grand-child, Heidi Biller. She is also survived by her sisters, Pat Mercier; and Mary Ellen (George) Karpenic; brother, Paul (Jackie) Martin; and many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie’s gentle spirit, friendly, kind and compassionate manner will live on in our hearts forever.
A prayer service will be held at the Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK. on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. A funeral mass will take place at Resurrection Roman Catholic Parish, 3155 Windsor Park Rd, Regina, SK on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020 at 1 p.m. The interment and reception will follow the mass at the Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery.
