Sadly, we announce the death of George Harry Kuzik on the Oct. 15, 2017 at Fort Qu’Appelle.
George was born on July 17, 1926 in Smokey Lake, AB.
He was stationed in Vancouver, B.C. for many years as a naval officer. In 1955, he began farming in the Dysart district, then retired to Fort Qu’Appelle, partnering in Fox Greenhouse.
George loved farming, hunting, gardening, fishing, and raising pheasants.
Predeceased by his first wife, Zita, George is survived by Dorothy von Falkenhausen; son, Murray (Melanie) of Medicine Hat, and five grandchildren, Chad (Kara); Tyler (Jenny; Jesse (Lisa); Robert (Michelle); and Corey (Katherine); 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A celebration of George’s life was be held in Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Fort Qu’Appelle on Wednesday Oct. 18 at 11 am.
Donations in George’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
