Wayne Knipple was born in Melville, SK on July 21, 1938, late of Regina, SK and passed away peacefully at Regina Pasqua Hospital on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, with his children by his side.
He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Lorraine Knipple (Stein); grandparents Sophie Knipple (Gottinger) and George Knipple (Knippleberg); mother Freida Knipple (Schultz); father Henry (Hank) Knipple; and sister Betty Koch (Knipple).
Wayne is survived by daughter Jody Knipple; sons Troy Knipple and Chad Knipple (Tammy); six beautiful grandchildren; five incredible great-grandchildren; sisters Shirley, Sharon and Sandra; and loved nieces and nephews.
Wayne was a calm, present provider for his family as a self-employed lifelong entrepreneur who worked hard and pretended it was easy. Wayne was a car and motorsports enthusiast/active participant. Wayne was most proud of his family, with lifelong friendships and fond memories of Melville, SK during the young carefree days. Wayne enjoyed dancing with his girl, healthy living nutrition, and exercise.

Wayne by the grace of God is now at peace in his eternal home. We invite you to join in a celebration of Wayne’s life at Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at 11 a.m. A private family interment of his ashes will be held in June 2024 at Melville Cemetery.
