Anton (Tony) Steve Velestuk of Grenfell, SK was born July 21, 1931 in Broadview, SK and passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 at Broadview Centennial Lodge.
Tony leaves to mourn: his loving wife of 63 years, Martha (nee Maier); his children: Margaret, Susan (Brian), Terry (Bonnie) and Valerie (Kim); and his sister, Effie. He also leaves to mourn his grandchildren: Korri (Brent), Michael, Janelle, Braden, Stephen (Ameena), Laura (Blaise), Sarah (Brady), and Shaylin (Darren). Tony was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Anaya, Connor, Nash and Nel.
Tony was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Annie Velestuk; and brothers, Joe, Philip and twin Adam.
A funeral service will be held in Peace Lutheran Church on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022 at 2 p.m. with officiant Pastor Gerald Andersen. Interment in the Grenfell Cemetery.
