Helen Anne Nilson was born on Jan. 21, 1935, in the Whitewood district of Saskatchewan. She passed away in the Moosomin hospital on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, at the age of 86 years.
Helen was predeceased by her parents, Maria (Johanson) and Marcel Rodstrom; her stepson, Chad Larry; her son, Robert Lindahl; sister Nancy Dykeman; brother Albin and wife Freya; her husbands, Earl Lindahl and Wilbert Nilson; and brother- and sister-in-law Archie and Thelma Lindahl. She is survived by Robert’s wife, Debbie Lindahl; her granddaughter, Katelyn; sons Doug and Ray (Terri); Wilbert’s daughter, Charlene and children Darien, Tristan, Bowen and Brittney; and numerous nieces and nephews, including a set of quadruplets (girls).
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021 at Knox Presbyterian Church, Whitewood with the Rev. Seong Ok Lee officiating. Interment took place in Whitewood Cemetery with Tony Brule as urn bearer.
Arrangements were entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Whitewood and Melville.
