It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved sister, Faye Margaret Bumstead. Faye passed away Monday, July 12 at the Royal Alec
Hospice in Edmonton, Alta.
Faye was 86 years old having been born on the May 4, 1935 to Charles (Kelly) and Aileen Horsman in Claude Seymours house, across from Springbrook School.
Faye was predeceased by her husband Jim; and brother, Gordon Horsman. Left to mourn her loss are her brothers, Lorne of Moose Jaw, Sask, and Ross of Keremeos, B.C.; plus four nieces, Chris, Carol, Nyree and Narel; also four nephews, Stephen, Gary, David and Richard; plus nine great-nephews and nieces.
Faye started her schooling at Springbrook School and attended Scott Collegiate in Regina for her senior years.Faye was a teenager when her and her best friend, Fran McNaugton, moved to Edmonton, Alta. Anyone that knew Faye and went anywhere with her, soon found out she was a folkey, talkative person who readily engaged in long conversations. Not only with people she knew but also unsuspecting subjects who were polite enough to respond to a greeting from her.
No funeral will be held. A family gravesite ceremony will be held at a later date.
