Date of Death: September 28, 2023

Marion Robison passed away peacefully with her sons by her side on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, at the Lakeside Home in Wolseley, Sask., at the age of 83 years.
Marion was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Leslie Robison; father Alex Main; mother Francis Main (Kent); mother-in-law Leona Robison (Waugh); father-in-law Max Robison; and sister-in-law Anne Robison. She is survived by her son, Trent Robison (Rhonda) and their children, Nicholas and Rebecca; son Scott Robison (Angie) and their children, Brooke and Cadence; brother-in-law Kent Robison and his children, Jeff Robison and Susan (Doug) Vellieux and their children, Sarah and Amy.
Marion was an only child who grew up on the family farm south of Summerberry. She enjoyed all her farm animal friends. Marion’s mom said that horses were the love of Marion’s life, and she spent many hours with them. She went to school in Summerberry, was a part of the 4-H Club, and enjoyed figure skating. After high school, she attended the Brandon General Hospital Nursing Program and graduated as an R.N. in 1962. Marion moved back to the Summerberry area where she worked as a Registered Nurse in Grenfell and later Wolseley until she retired in 1993.
Les and Marion were married in 1963 and, a few years later, were blessed with two sons. They lived in Wolseley, then moved to the farm north of Summerberry and later moved back to retire in Wolseley. They also had a cabin at Crooked Lake where they made lifelong friendships with the neighbours and enjoyed lots of family time with their boys.
Marion helped on the farm and took many suppers out to the field, including her own birthday suppers. She enjoyed maintaining a large garden, tending to her flowerbeds, feeding hummingbirds, snowmobiling, travelling, knitting and shopping.
Due to failing health in 2013, Marion moved into the Wolseley Lakeside Home. Les visited her faithfully every day, until he passed in 2020.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at the Summerberry Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023. The service will be for both Marion and Les as per their wishes. A luncheon will be served after the service at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Grenfell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.
Arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Melville.
