Presents for seniors - Students from the SLC at Indian Head Elementary School delivered gifts to residents at Golden Prairie Home and elsewhere in the community through their Secret Santa for Seniors program.

The students at Indian Head Elementary School got into the Christmas spirit this season through family activities and gift deliveries.
On Wednesday, Dec. 7, students spent the evening at the school with their families participating in a variety of Christmas themed activities. Families rotated through stations set up around the school. They sang carols in the band room and listened to stories in the library.
In classrooms they had an opportunity to make Rudolph and Grinch crafts, play bingo, or decorate cookies. Each family also received an ornament specially decorated by students and staff.
A few days later, students from the SLC concluded their annual Secret Santa for Seniors program under the leadership of teacher Carmen Blayone. Through cooperation with Scot’s Printing and Indian Head Pharmasave, and with generous support from community members, the students collected gifts for more than 90 seniors. These were delivered in time for Christmas and brought joy to many in the community.
