Kipling Band Parents Association

The Kipling Holiday Fair is an annual fundraiser hosted by the Kipling Band Parents Association.
Dawn Manns, one of the Band Parents helping to organize the Holiday Fair, says that there will be a lot for visitors to take in at the event this year.
“We have around 70 to 75 vendors that will be set up in the Community Center and the gym. Many of the vendors are local and most are from Saskatchewan. But we do have a couple coming from Manitoba as well.
“There will also be a raffle with prizes donated by each of the vendors. Every customer will get one free raffle entry. And Veracity Creative (a photographer) will be doing mini-Christmas shoots on the stage at the Community Centre too.”
Billie Johnson (Band Parent Association President) says that visitors to the Holiday Fair will find a number of different Christmas gift options available at the event.
“There will be lots of things to see at the Holiday Fair this year! There will be baking, crafts, jewelry, Christmas décor, preserves, chocolates, ceramics…and the list goes on!”
Johnson adds that the money raised by the event will go towards funding various band trips and activities.
“The money we raise through the Holiday Fair helps to fund the Senior Band trip to Banff that happens every four years, along with other trips for all three levels in the band (Beginner, Intermediate and Senior).”
This year’s Holiday Fair will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3rd (from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) with vendors set up in both the Kipling Community Center and the Kipling School Gym.
