Mervyn Arthur Schindel passed away peacefully at the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission, B.C., on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the age of 74 years. Mervyn was born on Feb. 11, 1948, in Melville, SK to Arthur and Mary Schindel. He grew up on the farm outside of Melville and then relocated to Mission, B.C., where he worked, lived and raised his family.
Mervyn leaves to mourn his wife of 51 years, Trudy; his daughter, Nadine (Clayton) Baerg and granddaughter Amelia; his son, Shaun; his sister, Diana and niece Daphne.
A private burial was held at Dignity Memorial in Burnaby, B.C.
