Robert Broda passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the age of 77 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Judy Broda; brothers, John (Kelly) Broda and William (Christy) Broda; sisters, Donna Sample, Elizabeth (Andrew) Osicki, Kathy (Darwyn) Worsley, Debra (Ron) Knutt, Cheryl (Bert) Bartake and Brenda (Bruce) Penner; numerous nieces, nephews, great- and great-great nephews; close friends, Rose Marie Darby Heath and Jennifer Schau.
Robert was predeceased by his sons, Trenton James Broda and Jay Allen Broda; sister, Lorna Quennelle; brother-in-law, Robert Sample.
Robert was born in Melville, SK and raised on a farm nearby. He worked on the farm and met Judy. They moved to North Dakota, USA. Robert and Judy returned to the farm in 1974 and then moved to Lemberg, SK in 1988 where Robert drove school bus. Robert and Judy moved to Medicine Hat in 2000 where Robert delivered lots of pizza among other things. He enjoyed baseball, woodworking, wine making, curling, golfing, bowling, outdoors, hunting and fishing.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 17 at 10:30 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church, 8 Palliser Pl NE, Medicine Hat, AB with Pastor Daryl Porter officiating. Donations in Robert’s memory may be made to Parkinson
