Date of Birth: July 21, 1953

Date of Death: November 22, 2021

The family of Louise Ireland are announcing her passing in Melville on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021 at the age of 68.
Louise Ireland lived a life of giving. A mother, a grandmother, a health care provider, she was selfless. Louise never asked anything of those around here except where she could help. Louise raised two children, one of which had cerebral palsy, she worked with the most vulnerable for over three decades in Melville, day in and day out, worrying only about the needs of those around her whether it be at Rail City Industries or at the Oasis Youth Centre.
When the time came that Louise was blessed with grandkids, they became her joy. Louise was the most doting grandmother and Sebastian, Eisley and Dayn were so blessed to have her in their lives.
Anybody who knew Louise knew she was the queen of sarcasm. Always quick with a with a comment and eye roll everyone around her would surely have a laugh. Louise never shied away from hard work, in fact the opposite. The woman seemed to never sleep, always doing something for someone. Louise never asked for much, she lived a very simple life except when it came to her love and belief in the afterlife and the supernatural.
An avid believer in the supernatural Louise loved nothing more than to visit haunted sites to fulfill her curiosities. Our family and her friends can take solace in knowing that Louise will always be right there, in spirit, looking out for all of us.
Left to mourn are her daughter, Laurie Ireland (Derek Meyers); grandchildren, Sebastian and Eisley and step- grandson, Dayn of Regina. She is also survived by her mother, Claire Kowalyshyn, Lanigan: sisters, Dorthy (Kelly) Smale, Lanigan and Grace (Gerald) Whitehead, Kelvington. She is also survived by niece, Angela (Chad) Pighin and children, Dylan and Porter, Water Valley, AB; and niece, Christine (Rick) Blyth and their children, Bryce, Jake and Evan, Wynyard; aunts and uncles, Lawrence and Luisa Godin of Saskatoon and Helen and Gene Dizy of Sydney, BC and Rene and Irene Godin of Calgary, AB.
