Early in the morning on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, our dear husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa went to fly with his beloved birds.
Wolfgang Sawatzki will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Wolfgang was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Frieda; his infant sister, Hannelore; and his brothers, Siegfried (Kathy) and
Gunther (Shirley). He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; his children, Shannon and Dale; his grandchildren, Courtney (Nick) and Carman; his great-grandchildren, Theodore and Benjamin; his brother, Horst (Bernice); and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be planned to take place in Whitewood in the summer of 2022. A private interment will take place in Moose Jaw, SK.
Arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Whitewood.
