It is with great sadness to announce the sudden death of Shawn Kasperski on Monday, May 10, 2021, at the age of 54.
Shawn loved spending time with close friends golfing, fishing and playing Kaiser during holiday dinner celebrations. He took joy in the work he put into his farm, that he nicknamed “The Spooky Acres”. Especially the long hours he spent on his riding lawn mower and taking care of his yard. Shawn was amazing at putting on a fireworks show at the farm for all of his friends and family to enjoy together. One thing he loved and cherished the most in his life was his animals, who he called his kids. Shawn was a good friend, a loving uncle to many, a son and a brother. He never thought twice about putting the needs of other people before his own, always there to help with no questions asked.
Shawn is predeceased by his father, Walter Kasperski; mother, Katherine (Kae) Kasperski; sister, Kathleen (Kathy) Thomson; brother, Robert (Bob) Kasperski; dogs (Gizmo, Nana, Robo) Kasperski.
Left to celebrate and carry on Shawn’s memory are his brother, Brian Kasperski; niece, Shawna Teles (Paul); nephew, Tyler Thomson (Korrigan); great-niece and nephew, Austin and Natalia (Teles); along with numerous close friends. We will always remember that caring heart, that special smile, the funny humour, and the warm embrace that you gave every one of us.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate Shawn’s memory. Those of you who wish, may make a donation in Shawn’s memory to the Bright Eyes Dog Rescue, in Regina, Sask.
