WHITE – It is with very heavy hearts that we announce that on Saturday, June 9, 2018, Jacqueline Irene White was swept up by the angels and taken to her heavenly home.
Jackie was born in Halifax, N.S. on Nov. 17, 1961. She was the youngest daughter of Tom and Kathleen White.
She was a loving wife to Douglas Ottenbreit and a wonderful mother to Nick and Amy Strowbridge. Jackie is also survived by siblings: Est (David) Brown, Cora (Glen) Martin, Grace (Gary) Beattie, Merlin, Minnie (Wayne) MacLead and Lona (Kevin Tufts); as well as childhood friend, Roma. Jackie was predeceased by her parents.
Jackie will be remembered as a very caring and generous lady who always spoke her mind and always loved animals.
Jackie is going home to Nova Scotia where funeral arrangements will be entrusted to J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home in Kennetcook, N.S. Service and visitation to be announced.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in the city she resided in, Melville, Sask.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Noel Road Cemetery or the Yorkton SPCA.
