Bernie passed away at Provost, Alta. on Saturday, May 19, 2018, one day shy of her 94th birthday. She was born on May 20, 1924 and spent her childhood on the family farm near Primate, Sask.
After attending elementary grades at Falconhurst School, she continued her education in Prelate, Sask. and joined the Ursuline Sisters of Prelate. She spent 25 years with the Sisters, teaching in schools throughout the province.

She loved needlepoint, travel and splitting $20 with her friends at the casino after church on Sunday.
A lifelong teacher, she continued to pass on lessons to those close to her, including the importance of family, faith and a fashionable outfit.
Bernie was predeceased by her parents, Christopher and Josephine (Bichel) Dielschneider; and by her sisters, Frances (in infancy), Madeline Mildenberger and Anna Mary Weinkauf. She is survived by her sister, Katie Reschny; and by her brothers,Tony and Peter Dielschneider.
