Katherine “Kay” Elizabeth Shaw, aged 84 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Tuesday, June 21st, 2016. The Funeral Service was held on June 30th at the Moose Jaw Funeral Home and she was interned at Rosedale Cemetery in Moose Jaw. She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis; granddaughter, Christine Lynn Nicolson; son-in-law, Laurie Pearson; brother, Donavon Zorn; sister, Doreen Carson; sisters-in-law: Margaret Stephenson, Bessie Paice, and Bernice Shaw; brothers-in-law, Richard Stephenson and Doug Shaw; and nephew, Howie Paice. Kay will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Sharon (Lyle) Nicolson and Delores Pearson; son, Don (Diane) Shaw; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor (Ervin) Wolfe; brothers-in-law, Jack Paice and Earl Carson; sister-in-law, Clarice Zorn; as well as numerous other relatives. Kay was born in Oakshella, SK on June 23rd, 1931. She married Dennis Shaw on October 19th, 1950 in Whitewood, SK and moved to Moose Jaw in 1954, where she has resided until her passing.
