William (Bill) James Thompson, of 901 Wildwood Lane, West Vancouver, B.C., passed away peacefully after a short illness on Saturday, April 16, 2016.
He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Irene (Culbert) Thompson (Nov. 24, 2001); his older brother, Robert (Bob) Thompson (June 13, 1988) and sister-in-law, Velda Elizabeth (McRae) Thompson (June 18, 2011); brothers- in-law, Gordon Kenneth Piller (May 6, 2004), Earl Raymond Ganong (Jan. 31, 2004).
He will be sorely missed by his older sister, Agnes Lorely (Thompson) Piller (Mississauga, Ont.), and twin sister, Loretta May (Thompson) Ganong (Oakville, Ont). “Uncle Bill” Thompson will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends.
