We bid farewell to a kind, compassionate Husband, Dad and Grandpa, Stan Blyth. Stan was born May 17, 1921 in Rocanville.  He married the love of his life, Lois Davies on Oct. 8, 1946.  Together they raised six children who are left to mourn their loss. With pride they welcomed into their lives  Lynn Lavoie, Ralph & Marielle Blyth, Bill Blyth, Brian &  Shirley Blyth, Heather & Larry Trischuk,  Cheryl & David Hataley, 13 Grandchildren and nine Great Grandsons.   Stan is predeceased by his wife of 67 years Lois, his daughter in law Eileen (Duke), brother Ernie House and sister Freida Beer. Stan is remembered by his sister May Knowles and brothers Les Blyth and Bill & Doreen Blyth as well as a large extended family.  Dad served in the Air Force during World War II.  He continues to be a inspiration and role model to his family.  Dad was devoted to his family and community throughout his entire life. Dad demonstrated a strong work ethic in the businesses he owned but still took time to volunteer with many organizations. The family would like to thank Veterans Village at Sherbrooke and the extended House 10 Families for their care and compassion while Dad was a resident.  A memorial service for Stan and Lois  will be held in Whitewood at a later date.  Dad rejoined his life long dancing partner on Feb. 1.  We love you Dad and Grandpa Stan. Until we meet again.
