John Melnychuk, late of Wapella, Saskatchewan was born in Sheho, Saskatchewan on July 26th, 1925 to George and Eiffe Melnychuk. John spent the majority of his life as a heavy equipment operator and built many miles of road throughout Saskatchewan. John passed away quietly on January 20th, 2016 at the Southeast Integrated Care Centre, Moosomin, Saskatchewan. John is predeceased by his parents George and Eiffe Melnychuk; brothers Nick, Fred, Pete and John; sisters Bella Easser and Doris Debrowney. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Ann Melnychuk; children Brian Melnychuk, Barbara (Tony) Punko, Beverlie (Robert) Jorgensen, Brent (Lana) Melnychuk; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. John was laid to rest on Friday, January 22nd, 2016 at the Wapella Cemetery, Wapella, Saskatchewan. Funeral arrangements entrusted to G.R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Moosomin, Saskatchewan.
