Pearl Victoria McDougall passed away suddenly in Florence, Arizona while playing cards with her friends. She was born on the farm in Truax, Sask., went to Normal School in Regina to get her teaching certificate, and then moved to Wapella, Sask. to teach. It was there she met the love of her life Pat McDougall. They married in 1953, lived on the farm in Wapella while having 4 children, and then moved to a farm south of Whitewood in 1964. She went on to earn 2 university degrees and teach school until her retirement in 1986. She was very well travelled, had a large circle of friends and a large loving family. She will be missed.

Pearl was predeceased by her husband Pat in 1989 and her son Barry in 1998. She was also predeceased by her parents Wesley and Anna Petrisor, her sister Jeanne, and her brothers Victor, John and Wesley. She is Pearl McDougallsurvived by her children Allan (Shelley), Victor (Lorrie), and Heather (Armand Poncelet); daughter in law Sherry Miskiman; grandchildren Stacy (Jody), Charlene(Alain), Kathy(Brandon), Doug, Donte, Scott(Cheryl), Colleen(Ryan), Melissa(Travis), Holly(Brett), Megan and Jillian; great grandchildren Imogen, Elizabeth, Kai, Archer, Norah, Eddie, Ryan, Evan, Manix, Effie, Beckett and Burley. She is also survived by her brother Stanley, sisters Irene Martin, Rebecca Cunningham and Ethel Carlson, as well as in laws George Elliott, Fred Holloway, June Zagozeski, Nancy Petrisor and Irene McDougall, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

According to her wishes she has been cremated, and a memorial service will be held in early summer to celebrate her life.
