GULIAK – Steven Guliak of Melville, Sask. passed away in the early hours of Friday, Jan. 8, 2016.
Steve was born on June 12, 1932 on the family farm just outside of Norquay, Sask. to John and Elsie (nee Ochitwa) Guliak.
He leaves to mourn: his wife of 57 years, Anne (nee Jakubowski); his daughter, Donna, Roy, RaeAnne, Keenan, and Parker Ellert of Melville Sask.; his sons, John Guliak of Edmonton, Alta., Peter and MacKenzie Guliak of Melville and Lloydminster; his brother, Bonnie (Ophelia) Guliak and family of Norquay, Sask.; his sister, Doreen Profitt and family of Edmonton; and a large number of Jakubowski’s.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Elsie; his in-laws, John and Mary Jakubowski, Ronnie Jakubowski, Elsie Kovacs, Alec Bodner and Eddie Jakubowski.
Steve’s funeral service was held at Matthews Funeral Home, Melville, Sask. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016.Interment in the Melville City Cemetery will follow in the summer of 2016.
