Marleen Hazel Rey (nee Haggard) passed away peacefully at the age of 76 at the Grey Nuns Hospital, Edmonton AB. Marleen was born in Quill Lake SK. She met Anthony Rey (Tony) and they married in 1956 in Watson, SK. They lived on the family farm & moved to Whitewood in 1959 and opened a Macleods Store. After Tony passed in 2007, Marleen moved to Sherwood Park, AB. Her life was her family and she will be sorely missed. She is survived by her children Arlene, Marg (Blaine), Ang (Bill), Carol (Vince), Tony (Janice), Ted (Agnes). Grandchildren Bruce, Curtis, Tanis, Danielle, Jaye, Jennifer, Daniel, Andrew, Stephanie, Cassandra. Great Grandchild Payton. Brother Bryon (Bev). In-Laws LaVerne, Mary, Margaret (Clarence), Al, Joyce, Beth (Wilber). Numerous nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Tony, parents Verle & Eunice Haggard & brother Lorne. In-Laws Mary, Martin, Joseph, Anna (Steve), Lena (James), Val & Ted.
Internment will take place in Whitewood Cemetery in May 2016.
