Date of Death: December 9, 2015

Lillie Hauser, born in 1932, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Saskatoon at the age of 83.
A service of comfort was held on Friday, Dec. 18, 2015 at the chapel of Baileys Funeral home in Melville. The funeral was held Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Lillie loved to experience everything she possibly could in life. Celebrating with her entire family gave her the greatest of joy. Both her services were just that, celebrations of her life here on earth. They were filled with all her favorite things; music, singing, flowers, pictures, and most importantly, all her family and friends.
Lillie was a woman of incredible faith and an extraordinary example of what a Christian women can and will do despite all odds. Pastor Doug Schmirler had a powerful, faith- filled sermon.
To all the family that helped in any way to make these two days the great celebrations that they were; we say thank you. The memories shared together will be with us forever. To everyone who attended from near or far, we say thank you. Our heartfelt thank you for your gifts of prayers, cards, flowers, donations, food, and all your kind words. As well, to those of you who over the past three years shared your time with mom, our sincerest thank you.
To Pastor Doug and all the ladies and gentlemen of Good Shepherd Lutheran church, know we are very grateful to you all. Our sincerest gratitude to Bailey’s Funeral Home; who truly helped to fulfill all of our needs.
We will remember all that mom was to each one of us and what she inspired us to be when God is first in our lives and we will cherish her memory always and forever.
