It is with profound sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Darren Edward Large on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the age of 54 years.
Darren was predeceased by his father, Ronald Large; uncle and aunt Stan and Jaqueline Aldous; and cousin Scott Aldous. He is survived by his sons, Levi and Spencer, and their mother, Crystal Large; his mother, Audrey Large; cousins Cheryl and Sheila
Aldous, Heather and Drue Aldous, Brian Peck and Kevin Peck and family. He is lovingly remembered by his partner, Trina Switzer, and her family, with whom he shared many meaningful moments. He also held a special place in his heart as an honorary grandpa to Nora and Elinor, bringing warmth and joy into their lives.

A celebration of Darren’s life will take place at the Balcarres Hall on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the Balcarres Cemetery.
