The family of Ray Danylko of Yorkton, beloved husband of Marion Danylko, sadly
announce his passing on Sunday, April 5, 2026. He was 77 years of age.
Raymore Lynn Danylko was born in Yorkton on June 29, 1948 spending the majority of his younger years living in Calder. In 1965 Ray met his beloved wife, Marion. They were later married on Aug. 5, 1969. Together, they welcomed their first son, Brenton, in 1970 and a few years later in 1974, their second son, Bradley. There was nothing Ray cherished more than the moments he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren who brought him endless happiness and pride. He was best known for his sense of humour and found joy in pulling pranks on family and friends.
Ray was a dedicated and hard-working radiator repairman since 1966. In 1981 he opened up his own repair shop, Ray’s Radiator, where he worked alongside his son Brent until his untimely passing. One of his greatest gifts was his ability to connect with others. Through his business, many of his customers quickly became lifelong friends. No matter where he went or who he met, Ray had a way of starting conversations and forming connections. With his network of friends, the shop office always had a familiar face at coffee time. You could always rely on a phone call from Ray, checking in and seeing what you were up to. He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, camping, and working on his trikes. He loved spending the weekends at the cabin where he was always accompanied by his faithful furry companions (Teddy, Springer, Cindy, Shadow, Madee). Wherever Ray went, you could always count on his loyal dog being right by his side.
Raymore survived by his wife Marion, sons Brent (Tammy), Brad (Cheryl), grandchildren Logan, Tori, Courtney, and Holly, as well as many other friends and family. He is predeceased by his parents Harry and Saidie, in-laws Bill and Margret, and his brother Rodney.
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre Crystal Bailey, Certified Celebrant officiating. Courtney Danylko and Holly Danylko read the poem ‘In Our Hearts’. Logan Danylko and Tori Danylko delivered the eulogy. The interment followed in the Garden of St. Mark, Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Logan Danylko, Tori Danylko, Courtney Danylko, and Holly Danylko serving as urn
