It is with profound sadness that, after a short illness, we announce the sudden passing of Howard Watts, our father, grandfather, great-grandfather and golf buddy. Howard passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024, at the age of 84 years, one week before his 85th birthday.
He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Cora Watts; wife Verna Watts; brother Leonard Watts; and sister Joyce Betteridge.
Howard will be lovingly remembered by his children: Doug (Kim) Watts and Delaine (Kevin) Myers; grandchildren, Brandon (Courtney) Watts, Brittney Watts (Ryan Johnson), Jackie Myers (Mitchell Johnstone), Carla Myers (Ryan Strassburger) and Ryan Myers (Caylee Stewart); great-grandchildren, Noah, Ezme, Carter, Remy, Ryah, Wyatt and Addyson; as well as many family members and friends.
The family would like to send our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. McLellan and Dr. Lyster, as well as the nurses and staff on 3D and MSU at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina. We appreciate the care and compassion shown to Howard and the comfort provided to the family.
Celebration of Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Hendrickson officiating.
