It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel James Gerein on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at the age of 94.
He was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Katherine Gerein; and brother Albert.
Dan is survived by his wife Phyllis (DeDecker) of 65 years; his children: Ken (Monica), Wayne (Darcie) and Eric (Michelle); and
grandchildren: Jordan, Kessa (Andy), Kira (Brandon), Kenzi, Ashley and Tyler.
Dan grew up on the farm near Montmartre, Sask.
Farming was near and dear to his heart.
The funeral mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Montmartre on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Francis (Prince) Kurisinkal. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made at:
