Music was a big part of Joe’s life as he and Eileen led the St. Hubert’s choir for many years and Joe playing in the band The Country Gentlemen.
Joe, a long life lover of farming, in particular, purebred cattle, tended many years to his Polled Herefords and was a long-time president of the East Sask Mainline Association. In later years, Joe moved into Black Angus which he bred even after moving from the farm into Whitewood, right up until he was moved into the Moosomin long-term care home where he joined Eileen.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Whitewood on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Moosomin long-term care home and Dr. Van for their care of Joe over the last few years.
