It is with great sadness that the family wishes to announce the passing of Glenda Ragnhild Urschel.
Glenda passed away peacefully with family by her side at William Albert House, Emerald Park, Saskatchewan on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023
Survived by loving family of five children: David (Winona), Michael (Jennifer), Barb (Armand), Dennis, Dale; six grandchildren, Tammy, Brent, Dustin, Mark, Jamie and Skylar; and seven great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Aiden, Karissa, Jordyn, Nova, Olivia and Anna.
Glenda was born north of Broadview, Sask. on Oct. 11, 1934 to parents, Eric and Olga Hammerstrom. She is survived by sisters-in-law Elsie Urschel, Minnie Jolly and Lorna Hammerstrom. She is predeceased by husband Wilfred; brothers Henry, Oscar, her twin Glen; and sisters Violet and Viola.
Our family would like to thank the staff at William Albert House for all their love and care during her stay.
A public graveside funeral service will take place at the Broadview Cemetery on Saturday Aug. 26, 2023 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow at the Broadview Community Hall.
