Delores Lipoth entered her eternal rest on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022.
Delores was born near Langenburg, SK on Feb. 17, 1938 to Louis and Josephine (Scherloski) Bergman. She attended Hohenlohe School near Langenburg, high school in Lebret, Normal School and the University of Saskatchewan. She was a second lieutenant in the Canadian Women’s Army Corps. In addition to farming with her husband, Aloysius, Delores was a teacher and sold Christian books.
As a young woman, Delores enjoyed playing fastball, cross country skiing and skating and was very interested in history. Throughout her life, she went on various trips with friends and family, including a tour of Europe and destinations in Canada and the United States. In recent years, she could be found tending her garden, canning vegetables, maintaining the farmyard, watching sports, reading, doing puzzles and looking after her pets.
Delores was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Josephine Bergman; sister, Patricia (Art) Simmonds; and brother, Kenneth Bergman. She leaves to mourn her passing: husband Aloysius Lipoth; daughters, Sarah Lipoth and Becky Lipoth (Meagan Onstad); brothers, Clifford (Bev) Bergman and Dennis (Debbie) Bergman; and sister, Evelyn Stewart (John Sikora).
The funeral mass was celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Grayson with Fr. John Mock as the Celebrant.
Arrangements were by Bailey’s Funeral Home, Melville.
