It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of our sister, sister-in-law and aunt, Alice Gerhardt (nee Kleebaum). Alice entered her eternal rest on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at St. Paul Lutheran Home at the age of 87 years.
Alice was born on Sept. 25, 1934, at Neudorf, SK, daughter to Reinhold and Olga (nee Ellerman) Kleebaum.
Alice was predeceased by her husband, Albert Gerhardt; parents Reinhold and Olga (nee Ellerman) Kleebaum; brothers Herb, Harold, Wilfred, Walter, Alvin and Gilbert; sisters Lydia Bruder, Alma Applin and Betty Burke; and sisters-in-law Darlene Kleebaum, Wilma Kleebaum and Carol Ann Kleebaum. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, David (Marlene) of Melville, sister Hanna Hepperle of Edmonton, AB, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Alice’s funeral service was held Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022, at Matthews Funeral Home, Melville, with Ray Yost officiating. The music for the service was provided by organist Gaylene Matthews and soloist Audrey Ulmer. The eulogy was presented by Heidi Boychuk, and the pallbearers were Brad Boychuk, Kaleb Boychuk, Kennedy Boychuk, Kurt Hoffmann, Alfonse Trach and Larry Brooks. Interment took place in the Neudorf Village Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Melville.
