Klaus Mayer passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022 at the age of 92 years. He leaves his wife, Sheila to cherish his memory; his sisters, Barb Geres and Lore Pohl; and many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Hanna Mayer; brothers-in-law, Jack Geres and Howard Pohl; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Kaspar Schmalz. Klaus leaves his daughter and son-in-law, Lana and Dwight Trudeau, to morn his loss; as well as brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alan and Frieda Feather and their family and grandchild Hannah.
Klaus was born at Oakshela and went to school there. After his school years were over he helped his dad farm. Years later he farmed himself and also milked cows, raised chickens and worked his land. After getting married they still farmed, but moved closer to a good road. Klaus will be missed by family and friends and by his wife of 65 years. Their anniversary was last Nov. 23. He will be missed by all.
