Fern Ruecker of the Lemberg district, beloved wife of Paul Ruecker, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, at the age of 76 years.
Fern was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Barbara (nee Hollinger) Ulmer, and mother-in-law and father-in-law Lydia and Phillip Ruecker. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul; children Scott (Teri) Ruecker and Tammy (Scott) Acton; the apples of her eye, her grandchildren, Paige and Luke Ruecker; brother Elroy Ulmer of Weyburn, as well as his children, Kelly, Kyla, Candace and Crystal and their families; sisters-in-law
Marlene (Alvin) Frick and Barbara Ruecker; brother-in-law Bill (Ruth) Ruecker; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Fern’s funeral service was held Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, at Rosewood Church, in the Lemberg district, with the Rev. Dong Joo Kim officiating. Interment took place in the
Lemberg and District Cemetery with Luke Ruecker, Scott Ruecker, Crystal Stockham, Candace Kopec, Bill
Thompson and Troy Frick acting as pallbearers.
Arrangements were entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Melville.
