Winnie, late of Wolseley, SK, passed away peacefully on Sept. 4, 2018.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd; sister, Elsie; son-in-law, Reg.
Winnie is survived and lovingly remembered by: children Ron and friend Lynn, Faye (John), Shirley (Tom) and Pauline (Darren); grandchildren, Alex (Jen), Ian, Heather Baniulis, Adam and Connor McAvoy, Travis (Danielle) and Abbey LeGault; brothers-in-law, John and Ralph; sister-in-law, Janet; as well many nieces, nephews and friends.
Winnie attended school in Leross and later went on to Normal school in Regina. She began teaching in 1944.
Mom and Dad married in 1951 and were active members of the community for many years.
Mom’s favourite past time was gardening, especially her flowers.
Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Lakeside Nursing Home in Wolseley. A special thank you to Kathy Sloan and Mae Wesley who did so much for mom during her time in Fort Qu’Appelle.
A family graveside service will take place at Lipton Cemetery.
