Jean Paluck was born on Nov. 9, 1933 on the Pacholko farm in the Jedburgh district, and passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 in Melville, Sask. at the age of 83 years.
Jean married Joe “Tony” Paluck on June 12, 1954. Together they raised four children; Sandra, Tony, Dale and Tyla on the family acreage in Westview, Sask.
Jean lived a full, satisfying and happy life as a homemaker and a dedicated, baptized witness of Jehovah. Her hospitality, sharing the good news of God’s kingdom in the door to door ministry with her neighbors and her studious nature in studying God’s word, the Bible testifies how diligent she was in accomplishing what she set out to do.
Predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Joe “Tony” Paluck on Jan. 7, 2014; her four siblings, Carl, Florence, Violet, and Lillian; her parents, Steve and Olga Pacholko.
Jean leaves to cherish her memory: her four children, Sandra (Rod) Hassman, Tony (Barb) Paluck, Dale Paluck and Tyla (Darwin) Fonos; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and loving relatives.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1066 Columbia Street, Melville with Harry Popenia officiating. A come and go potluck will be held following the memorial service at the Paluck Acreage, Lot #9 Westview.
