Matilda ‘Tillie’ (nee Ottenbreit).
Matilda passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 with her family by her side.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anton and Mary Ottenbreit; husband, Fred; daughter, Grace Galanos; brothers, John, Chris, Emil, Aloysuis and Richard; and sisters, Eva, Anna, Mary, Theresa, Betty and Martha.
Tillie is survived by sons, Stan (Marjorie), Gary (Leona) and Lloyd (Bernadett); favorite son-in-law, John Galanos; eight grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild; and sisters, Elma Schlechter and Ann Herperger will miss her dearly.
Tillie was born on May 23, 1927 and grew up in the Grayson area where she lived with her family. She later farmed with her husband, Fred, until moving to Regina where she lived until her passing.
Matilda was a member of the Little Flower Parish for many, many years.
A prayer service will be held at Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, Sask. on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016 at 6 p.m.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Little Flower Roman Catholic Church on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
