Fredrickson – Elsie Fredrickson passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Home, Melville. She was 97 years of age.
Elsie was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Mary (nee Heiduck) Tice; her husband, Enar; son, Garry; two sisters, Audrey (in infancy) and Lydia; one brother, Bill; sisters-in-law, Carol and Astrid; brothers-in-law, Alvin and Nick; and niece, Jean.
She leaves to cherish her memory: sisters, Ethel Pohaichuk and Marge (Len) Wingfelder; nieces, Marlene (Morley) Oleski and Marie (Ray) Gamble;
nephews, Ron (Audrey) Fredrickson, Jerry Bashnik, Wayne (Alvina) and William Glenn (Shelly) Tice, David (Cindy) and Grant (Rhonda) Wingfelder and families; many close friends including her life-long friend, Betty Crow.
Elsie’s funeral service was held Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015 at Matthews Funeral Home, Melville with the Rev. Phil Schwindt officiating. Interment followed in the Waldron cemetery.
The family would like to thank the St. Paul Lutheran Home staff for the wonderful care they gave Elsie. Also, a thank you goes to Matthews Funeral Home for all the help and guidance they provided. We also want to thank Betty Crow, Leona and Bill Bisch for stepping in when we were not able to be there.
