On Oct. 6 at approximately 8:30 p.m. the Indian Head RCMP along with Indian Head EMS and the Qu’appelle first responders attended a single vehicle collision on Highway #1 just west of the town of Qu’Appelle. A 47-year-old female from the Vibank area was the lone occupant and driver of the vehicle. Evidence at the scene indicated the vehicle was travelling east bound and entered the centre median and then travelled over the west bound lanes into the north ditch where the vehicle rolled. The female driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP members were on scene for several hours conducting an investigation into this collision. The scene has since been cleared and traffic is flowing normally in the area.
