Norma WestcottNorma Jessie May (Strong) Westcott was born October 20, 1932. She passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Whitewood Nursing Home.

Norma was predeceased by her husband, Cecil Hugh Westcott; her mother, Jessie Beattie; her step-father, Gordon Beattie; her father, Charles Strong; and her step-mother,  Irene Strong.

She leaves to mourn her passing: her daughter Linda (Allan) Blyth of Whitewood, SK; her grandchildren Derek (Kari) of Edmonton, AB; Tricia of Edmonton, AB; Craig (Juniper) of Russell, MB; and James (Darci) of Saskatoon, SK; her great-grandchildren Hudson, Alix, Jeremy, Gage, Amaya, Sophie, Kullea, and Aliah; her sisters and brothers  June (Digby) of Ottawa, ON; Wayne of Whitewood, SK; Doreen (Andre) of Orleans, ON; Glen (June) of Prince Albert, SK; Charlene of Brandon,  MB; Marlene (Jeff) of Maryfield, SK; and Lloyd (Beth) of Oxbow, SK; her sisters-in-law Della Goodfellow  of Calgary, AB; and Doreen Westcott of Whitewood, SK; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Norma was buried beside her husband, Cecil, after a graveside service, in the Whitewood Cemetery, Monday, August 26, 2013. Reverend  Ina  Golaiy, Norma’s cousin, led us in the service of celebration of Norma’s life. The Pallbearers were Derek Blyth, Craig Blyth, James Blyth, Jeremy Blyth, Lyle Vennard, and Wayne Westcott .

We, the family of Norma, give special thanks to the staff of Whitewood Nursing Home for their many kindnesses and wonderful care given to Norma. Thank you to the Legion Ladies for the lunch, and to Matthews Funeral Home, Whitewood, SK.

Norma will forever be loved, remembered, and missed by her family.
