Date of Death: April 23, 2026

The family of Ingrid Rasmussen of Yorkton, beloved wife of the late Dave Bradbury, sadly announce her passing on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Ingrid Ellen Rasmussen was born on April 4, 1963, in Kamsack, SK, to Melvin and Elizabeth Rasmussen. She was the youngest of four children. Ingrid was an adventurous child. She was always outside and at a young age, developed a love for plants, insects, and animals. She opened her home to many cats, dogs, and even small reptiles. Ingrid had many hobbies and a particular interest in drawing. She created many pictures that she shared with family over the years. She was a free-spirited, headstrong young woman, who was not shy to speak her mind on a few occasions.
At a young age, Ingrid gave birth to her daughter Annette. Despite the challenges this created, she persevered and completed her high school education and eventually began working with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Farm Service Centre in Yorkton. Ingrid excelled at her work and when the opportunity came, she transferred to the head office in Regina. This is where Ingrid met her husband, Dave. She welcomed his young family into her life, making them her own. Sadly, Dave passed away early on, leaving a huge hole in Ingrid’s life. This compounded with other health issues, made it increasingly difficult to continue working.
Despite the physical challenges that dominated her life, Ingrid persevered through it all, until she succumbed to her illness.
Ingrid loved her family deeply; her children and grandchildren were her world. We have lost a beautiful soul, but heaven has gained another angel.
Ingrid was predeceased by her parents Melvin and Elizabeth Rasmussen, as well as her husband Dave Bradbury. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Annette; grandchildren Emma Lee and Hunter; brother Murray; sisters Carla (Larry Nartasany) and Myra (Dave Gerhardt); nieces Sarah (Francis Michaud), Kira (Joel Paynter), and Breanne (Spencer Stahl); great-nieces Laikyn, Evie and Elizabeth; great-nephew Koen; as well as many aunts and uncles.
The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 14 at 10:30 a.m. from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre.
