Diane Karlunchuck entered into her place of eternal rest Monday, Sept. 1, 2025. Her passing is deeply felt by her loving husband Gary Karlunchuck, who treasures the life they shared for 52 years of marriage. Diane’s memory will be forever cherished by her two children and her four grandchildren who were the joy and pride of her life: Blair and Jennifer Karlunchuck (Zane and Reece,Derek Karlunchuck and Abby Sentes (Carson and Kira).
Born on June 13, 1951, Diane was the first of two children to Ron and Margaret Stratton. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Gordon (Barb) Stratton, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Ron and Margaret.
Diane enjoyed watching hummingbirds out her kitchen window, visiting with friends, travelling to Las Vegas, Mexico, Europe, Hawaii and various parts of Canada. Diane and Gary enjoyed travelling to watch their grandchildren participate in their sporting events. Diane was a member of the Crown Jewels of Canada Society and went on many adventures with this organization.
Diane was a devoted farm wife and mother. She embraced both the challenges and joys of rural life. She will always be remembered for her kindness, sweet smile and clever wit.
Following a private burial the family will be hosting a memorial service to celebrate Diane’s life with community, friends and family. The service will be held on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Legacy Inn Hotel in Grenfell, SK.
