It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leslie Gordon Waynert on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the age of 69 years. He was surrounded by family at his passing, and he left us due to respiratory failure.
Les was predeceased by his parents, Ellinor and Ernest; sisters, Brenda and Evelyn; brother Raymond; and sister-in-law Marianne. He is survived by his brother, Bill (Carol); and sisters, Anne (Ron) and Debbie (Bruce); as well as 15 nieces and nephews.
Les was gifted with a quick wit and unique sense of humour. He took great pleasure in making people laugh. We will miss Les so very much.
We would like to thank Nicole and the medical staff in 3D at the Pasqua Hospital for all the excellent care given to Les.
Visitation was held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina SK on Monday, March 25, 2024, from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street at 10 a.m. Interment in Whitewood Cemetery at a later date.
