The family of Darrel G. Krahenbil of Lemberg, SK, announce his unexpected passing at St Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon, SK, on Friday, Oct 30, 2026, at the age of 67.
Darrel was born Dec. 27, 1958, to parents, William and Noreen Krahenbil.
He is survived by his best friend and partner, Pat Gattinger; his children: Austin and Rayanne Krahenbil of Yorkton and Kelsey and Jim Beaver of London, England; Pat’s sons, Ryan, Jared and Colin (Jenna); his grandchildren, Wynn, Otto and Crew Krahenbil; Theo, Eliza and Vinnie Beaver; step-grandchildren, Ksenia, Emma, Jase and Eve; his siblings, Garry (Louise); Deb (Cliff) Allen, Brad (Shelly) and Brent; and many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Darrel’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family/friend gathering (by invitation only) will take place in the summer of 2027.
Arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Melville.
