Cultural room named - PVSD and Indigenous leaders held a naming ceremony for the cultural room at Bert Fox Community High School. The room is now called, “iniwekamick Tokoja Hochoka,” Cree and Dakota words which mean “Indigenous lodge where grandchildren are at the centre.” Those representing PVSD at the ceremony included Facilities Superintendent Lyle Stecyk (far left), Director of Education Luc Lerminiaux (centre), Board Chair Janet Kotylak (third from right), Vice Chair Judy Bradley (second from right), and Board Member Marlene Blatter (far right).
