Moonlight Madness kicks off Christmas Shopping

Twenty-eight vendors had wares for sale, offering shoppers a wide range of homemade gift ideas, including everything from quilted blankets to ornaments made out of walnut shells.

Merchants in Fort Qu’Appelle have geared up for the most important holidays of the year — and one of their biggest months in retail sales. Some stores were open late until 11 p.m. last Friday, offering discounts during a Moonlight Madness shopping event held to kick off the Yuletide shopping season.…
