Date of Birth: May 19, 1940

Date of Death: October 8, 2026

Mrs. Adeline Pelletier beloved wife of the late Robert Pelletier of Yorkton. With heavy hearts, the daughters and family of Adeline announce her peaceful end of life transition on the morning of Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026.
Adeline was born May 19, 1940 in Bredenbury, SK; the oldest of Zelda and Alphonse Pelletier. She was later joined by brothers, Harvey and Wes.
Life lessons learnt as a girl prepared her for homemaking and raising six daughters: Pam, Amanda, Peggy, Carol, Carrie and Angie. Her quiet inner strength and determination were who she was, and was needed as she provided for her family. She worked at
Parkland Housing in Yorkton for years.
Music and dancing were enjoyed by Adeline and shared when she met her husband, Robert. Together they made a home for family gatherings with a welcoming table of food. She was a gifted baker and cook, sharing baked bread or bannock along with homemade soup. Planting and tending to vegetable or flower gardens filled the spring-summer months with a fall feast of produce grown.
As the family grew with each grandchild so did the gatherings. From a barbeque to holiday meals there was always room for one more.
Simple pleasures of a country drive, camping, a ski-doo ride, sitting by a fire, an afternoon of fishing, playing cards or marbles and visiting with family or friends, filled Adeline’s life with joy.
Adeline embraced the adventure of a well-lived life from the waters of Niagara Falls or being on top of the mountain in Banff and every shared experience with her family.
Adeline is lovingly reunited with her daughter Peggy; husband Robert; parents Zelda and Alphonse; brothers Wes and Brian; sister Diane (infancy); son-in-law Carl; grandchildren Vince, Twila, Jason and Cole and all those precious family members who have gone before her.
Her memory will be cherished by her daughters and families: Pam, Amanda, Carol, Carrie (Max) and Angie; brother Harvey (Mary); sister Gladys; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The legacy of a large family will continue when stories are shared and retold about her by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and all those who loved her.
