Provincial champions - The Whitewood Pipestone Valley Vixens captured the Softball Saskatchewan U11 B Girls South Provincial Championship with an 8-1 victory over the Quad Town Steelers in Regina on July 5, completing an undefeated 11-0 season and bringing Whitewood its first provincial softball championship since the Batbusters in the 1980s.
