On Saturday, the White Butte Regional Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) held a large-scale, multi-agency emergency training exercise near Balgonie. Emergency personnel on-scene included Balgonie Fire and Rescue; Pilot Butte, White City, Edenwold, Emerald Park, and Kronau Fire Departments; Regina Bypass Maintenance, Regina EMS, White Butte RCMP, the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency, Regina Fire and Protective Services, STARS Air Ambulance, and members from the Ministry of Highways.
