The family of Joe Ashfield of Whitewood, SK, announces his passing on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy, and children Kim, Lisa, Lee, Lorelei, Dan, Chris and their families.
Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an accomplished writer, lawyer and financial analyst, a lover of birds and flowers, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, nature and spending time at the cabin. He loved Cindy, his whole family and many friends.
Joe and Cindy embarked on so many adventures, travelling to the UK, Hawaii and so many US destinations. They also enjoyed just playing cards and spending time enjoying their sunroom with family and friends. Joe’s kind, caring demeanor and wisdom will be missed.
Joe was predeceased by his parents, siblings and Mary Howorth, as well as some very special dogs.
Your family will cherish your 88 years, a life well lived. Thank you!!

A private family graveside service will take place in the Whitewood Cemetery at a later date.
